Siete y Media ("Seven and a Half") is a classic Spanish card game similar to blackjack. Number cards (1–7) are worth their face value; figure cards (Jack, Horse, King) are worth half a point. The goal is to get as close to 7.5 as possible without going over.

How are cards scored in Siete y Media?

Cards 1 through 7 are worth their number. Figure cards (10, 11, 12 in the Spanish deck) count as half a point (0.5). Reaching exactly 7.5 is the best possible hand; going over means you bust and lose automatically.
