Game Rules

Objective

Team game! Players 1 & 3 vs Players 2 & 4. Win the auction, choose trump, and your team must score at least the bid. The opposing team tries to stop you!

Teams

• • Players sitting across from each other are partners
• • Team A: seats 1 & 3 — Team B: seats 2 & 4
• • Both players' trick points add to their team score
• • The bidder's partner helps them reach the bid

Actions

• • Bidding starts at 60 points, increasing by 5
• • Players bid or pass. Last bidder wins the auction
• • The winner chooses the trump suit for their team
• • Maximum possible points: 130 (120 cards + 10 last trick)

Card Values

• As (1): 11 points
• 3: 10 points
• Rey (12): 4 points
• Caballo (11): 3 points
• Sota (10): 2 points
• Full 40-card deck (10 cards each). Other cards: 0 points

Players

• • You MUST follow suit if possible
• • If you can beat the current card, you MUST
• • If you can't follow suit, you MUST play trump if possible
• • If someone already trumped, you must play a higher trump if you can
• • +10 bonus points for winning the last trick!

Declarations

• Las Veinte (20 pts): King + Horse of any suit
• Las Cuarenta (40 pts): King + Horse of trump suit
• TUTE (instant win!): All 4 Kings OR all 4 Horses

You can only declare after winning a trick! Points count for your team.
